Mission Statement
Art Front is a student organization that works to provide diverse cultural and social art activities for students. It is about having fun, loving art, and building community. The goal of Art Front is to increase students' exposure to art at UNCA by connecting the art department to the campus and the community at large. We create opportunities for artists and non-artists alike to visit our school and attend our many lectures and workshops. We also provide resources for art students to enhance their education as well as focus on professional practices by offering exhibition opportunities for enrolled students. Participation is looked upon favorably and is one of the deciding factors when considering students for Departmental Distinction and Departmental Leadership awards.
